There are several coaching jobs open, including a top-15 vacancy at South Carolina. That's a significant job in the watch in the SEC with several high-profile players who could leave following the firing of Mark Kingston. The search for a new skipper is underway in Columbia.

That single-season number was the second-most all-time in a single season behind Joe Dillon’s 33 in 1997. Kash played in 16 games at Texas previously after originally signing with the Longhorns. After two years with the Red Raiders, he'll have another year remaining.

One of North Alabama's top players is not going to fly under the radar in college baseball's free agency market, not after the season he had. Gehrig Frei put up impressive power numbers at the dish, finishing the spring with a .320 average with 15 home runs, 12 doubles, 49 RBIs and a 1.107 OPS as one of the most difficult batters to punch out in the North Alabama lineup.
